Congratulations to Shane Farrell on his ‘Best Musical Director’ Nomination for the production of Sweeney Todd by Bravo Theatre Group (Loughrea, Galway). The show is nominated in the Sullivan Section which this year was adjudicated by Greg Currid.

Shane Farrel will be one of the tutors for Gormanston Drama Summer School 2017 with his course entitled “From Bathroom to Broadway”. The course is a fantastic opportunity to spend a week with one of Ireland’s most talented and highly regarded musical directors.

We would also like to congratulate all other nominees. Over the years, Gormanston Drama Summer School have been delighted to welcome many members of AIMS from musical societies all over Ireland, many of whom have been nominees and winners of awards for their performances on the stage.

The 2017 AIMS winners will be announced at the AIMS Awards Banquet in the INEC Killarney on Saturday 17th June 2017. The ceremony is host by Today FM’s Fergal D’arcy.
